Yellow Music was a label used to describe early generations of chinese popular music during 1920s to 40s as a reference to pornography. Yellow in chinese means pornographic, dirty, obscene. Yellow music means music which deals with personal concerns particularly with love.

The boarders between music an sexuality fuse together, singing and moaning, trance and lust are in music and in sexuality important.
